Do you feel right now that you are caught in the middle of a knockdown, drag out hostility? Do you feel right now that you are caught in the middle of a raging battle that is going on all around you? Do you feel right now that you are caught in the middle of an unseen enemy force that is about to claim victory over everything – including all the guys, gals and kids, that is around you? Do you think that there is right now a literal destroyer out there – such as like the destroyer who is mentioned in Isaiah 33, who is out to cause gripping terror everywhere on planet Earth? The Assyrian nation’s army may have been the destroyer that a God embedded planet Earth spokesman – whose charged message target was the Israelite people group guys and gals who were living in the land of Judah and in the city of Jerusalem, is referring to in his Isaiah Book. The Assyrian nation’s army – under the leadership of their king Sennacherib, had recently made a devastating assault on the Israelite people group guys and gals who were living in the land of Israel. As the Assyrian nation’s immense army marched toward the land that God gave to His specially chosen guys and gals to always to have to live in as their very own land if . . . the massive Assyrian nation’s army trampled and ruined the fertile farmlands and plush pastures that were around the city of Joppa – making the land that was around the city of Joppa like the Arabah Desert, caused the country of Lebanon’s celebrated groves of cedars to wither and die and stripped bare the opulent orchards that were in the cities of Bashan and Carmel. God used King Sennacherib and his Assyrian nation’s army to wreak havoc on His specially chosen guys and gals as a punishment for their continual disobedience to His mandated commandments, decrees and laws. The preordained outcome of a God consented enemy incursion into the life of one of His specially elected Christ-follower guy, gal or kid – as demonstrated by what He did when He roused the Assyrian nation’s army to do what the Assyrian nation’s army did to His specially chosen guys and gals who were living in the land area of Israel, is to awaken the guy, gal or kid to the absolute need to rid entirely the restricting chaff from his or her life (seed) and to burn in a fire all the thornbushes that are inhibiting his or her spiritual life (plant) growth.
What do you think takes place in the life of a Christ-follower guy, gal or kid – after he or she has been beaten down by continuous onslaughts of a Satan assigned minion, when he or she succumbs in the moment to the minion’s driven temptation to . . . after the Assyrian nation’s army completely ravaged where God’s specially chosen guys and gals were living in the land of Israel, the regional highways became deserted, travelers remained home, treaties or promises were broken and respect for one another was totally lost. Giving in to a minion driven temptation – such as caving into letting the temper spirit do some serious spewing through you in an inappropriate way, invariably will happen. The consequence for a Christ-follower guy, gal or kid consorting with a Satan sent minion may find him or her becoming completely lost on deserted life highways with not one single guy, gal or kid around – who had been once trusted and respected, who can give the correct life bearings to him or her. What do think takes place in the life of a Christ-follower guy, gal or kid – after he or she has prayerfully pleaded with God for a special anointing of His grace, after he or she has petitioned morning entreaties for His divinely empowered strength to get through the day and after he or she has claimed the hope spirit that comes with salvation’s declaration of having defeated distress, when . . . verse 6 is a verse that your grandpaa thinks that every Christ-follower guy, gal and kid would do well to always remember when he or she is faced with a Satan allocated minion as God’s role is clearly defined in this verse, “He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.” The fear of God and what He might do to you if . . . as He did to His specially chosen guys and gals when they . . . should always be your optimal deterrent weapon for rejecting the overtures of a Satan dispensed minion. God – Who is the Lord, is to never ever be ignored by Christ-follower guys, gals and kids. God – the LORD, is the judge, lawgiver, king and savior of each Christ-follower guy, gal and kid.
When a Christ-follower guy, gal or kid opts to associate with a Satan aligned minion, God will have him or her become like a derelict ship whose riggings are hanging loose, whose sail is no longer held secure and whose mast cannot be spread. This is how God depicted how the city of Jerusalem would look like when . . . God has a singular purpose for everything that He does – which is to become once and for all lifted up and exalted by His specially chosen guys and gals and now by His specially elected guys, gals and kids. The guys and gals who are the rightful residents of the United States of America will have the chance tomorrow – through a scheduled national election, to turn from a Satan driven individual freedom assertion which advocates the end justifying the means back to the Christ-centered course on which the United States of America is established. Now is the moment for the guys and gals in the United States of America Christ-follower community to unabashedly stand up against and to corporately beseech God to halt the hedonistic minority who – over the past century, have been snipping apart the constitution.
