“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;”
~ I Corinthians 6:19

Hi James and Ellen,

Do you know Who made you? Do you know how you were made? Do you know why you were you made? If a guy, gal or kid was specially elected by God – God the Father, to become one of His adopted kids through the price that was paid by God – God the Son, through His sacrificial death on a cross, the body of that guy, gal or kid is to become a temple for God – God the Spirit, to live. If you are prompted one day – if God – God the Spirit, has not already prompted you, to know that God – God the Father, created you and that God – God the Son, was born as an incarnate guy on planet Earth to redeem you from your disobedience against God – God the Father, you are being or have been led and prompted by God – God the Spirit, to make a decision of faith to unreservedly believe in what God – God the Son, did while He was on planet Earth when He suffered and died just for you. Your grandmaa and grandpaa are praying that – if you have not already done so, that you will make this decision of faith to believe in what God – God the Son, has done for you, when He inhumanely suffered and died unjustly on a cross so that His shed blood would cover and take away all the costs of your disobedience against God – God the Father, as well as to defeat the gnawing fear of death and to give you the constant reassuring hope of eternal life. Every guy, gal and kid who will be or who has already been adopted by God – God the Father, as one of His adopted kids was created by God – God the Father to be obedient to Him through the help of God – God the Spirit. Every guy, gal and kid who God – God the Father, created to be one of His adopted kids will want to always live his or her life for the sake of God – God the Father, through the continual help of God – God the Spirit. Because God – God the Spirit, will never leave His temple in the bodies of guys, gals and kids who have made the decision of faith believing that he or she was created by God – God the Father, and that the Triune God came to planet Earth as God – God the Son, Who . . .

Your grandpaa knows that believing in the Triune God as being God – God the Father, God – God the Son, and God – God the Spirit, can be confusing. When God – God the Son – Jesus, mercilessly suffered and unjustly died on a cross, Jesus initiated a new belief paradigm to faithfully obey in order to be welcomed into heaven to spend an eternity with God – God the Father, that replaced a rule/law based belief model that God – God the Father, mandated through Moses for His specially chosen guys and gals to dutifully obey. It did not take long for the guys and gals who God – God the Father, specially elected for Himself to begin to abuse the new belief paradigm that was implemented by God – God the Son – Jesus, when He died a sadistic death on a cross. A guy who did get a handle on this new belief paradigm that Jesus initiated through dying on a cross was a murderer whose name was Saul of Tarsus. Saul had his name changed by God – God the Father, to Paul. Paul became a teacher who explicated the grace/faith belief paradigm in what God – God the Son – Jesus, did through having to suffer an atrocious death on a cross for the guys, gals and kids who God – God the Father, specially elected for Himself before He created planet Earth. Paul made three trips – which are referred to today as missionary journeys, to different cities and towns to teach this new belief paradigm that was centered on a salvation through only faith that is void of good works as the only way to be welcomed into heaven to live forever with God – God the Father. Corinth was one of the cities where Paul visited on his second missionary journey. It seemed like in every town or city where Paul spent time, God – God the Spirit, had prepared guys, gals and kids to make a personal decision of faith believing in the new belief paradigm that had been implemented by the brutal death of God – God the Son, on a cross. Corinth was no exception. Guys, gals and kids who God – God the Spirit, had led to accept the new grace/faith belief paradigm had begun meeting together in Corinth. At this time – which was about 1950 years ago, Corinth was a commercial center with a population of somewhere 250,000 free guys and gals and another 400,000 slaves. Corinth had guys and gals from all over planet Earth living in the city with some very wrong environmentally conditioned thinking. It did not take long for the faith/grace message that Paul had spent a year and half teaching the guys, gals and kids who were in the Corinth Christ-follower fellowship to become polluted by guys who thought that lifestyles and actions had nothing to do with the new belief paradigm that the death of Jesus – God – God the Son, on a cross initiated.

When Paul heard about what was happening in the Corinth Christ-follower fellowship, Paul couriered a letter to the guys and gals who were the congregants of the Corinth Christ-follower fellowship to remind them as to Who created them, how they were created and why they were created. Paul became very specific in 1 Corinthians 6 about who God – God the Father, was going to welcome into heaven as his or her inheritance to live an eternity with Him. Paul reminded the guy and gals who were the Corinth Christ-follower fellowship congregants that no guy or gal who practiced living a compromised life – such as guys and gals who pleased their own bodies, worshipped inanimate idol gods handmade from wood, stone and metal, who served money, power and prestige and lived with another guy or gal who was not his or her spouse will never inherit the eternal life gift that God – God the Father, freely gives to the guys, gals and kids whose lives changed when . . . verse 19 says, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;” Have you given your bodies to God – God the Spirit, to live? You were created by God – God the Father, to reflect His glory back to Him.
