Have you ever gone to a place that you wanted to leave immediately because you sensed or felt a heavy, deep darkness in the place? Has there been a place where you have gone to where you have felt really spooked? Do you know a guy or gal who does not have the same spiritual beliefs and morality norms that you have? Your grandmaa and grandpaa were field team missionaries in two countries in Latin American – Bolivia and Guatemala, for a total of almost 20 years between the two countries. There are in both Bolivia and Guatemala indigenous people group guys and gals who have been conditioned through their growing up environs to be an animist or a spiritist. A guy or gal who is an animist believes that there are trees, rocks, manmade deities that have been handmade from wood, stone, clay and metal along with a lot of other inanimate things on planet Earth that have a spirit embedded in them. A guy or gal who is an animist believes that he or she needs to give an embedded spirit certain kinds of gifts – such as chicken blood or incense smoke or . . ., or else. Your grandmaa and grandpaa went to an Inca ruin when they were living in Bolivia and a couple of Mayan ruins when they were living in Guatemala. When your grandmaa and grandpaa visited the Inca ruin in Bolivia, they stood on the exact spot where guys and gals were killed as sacrifices to an Inca spirit god. A guy or gal who is a spiritist believes that the spirit world that exists needs to be tapped into for whatever reason that to him or her seems appropriate – such as trying to in a séance session talk to a guy or gal who has died or to stick a pin in a voodoo doll to cause an illness or death to guy or gal as a way to bring about a revengeful payback for whatever reason. Your grandmaa and grandpaa stayed in Livingston, Guatemala for several days a number of times. The population of guys, gals and kids who are living in Livingston is primarily made up of Garufina people group guys, gals and kids. The Garufina people group guys, gals and kids look, act and sound like guys, gals and kids who live in Jamaica. Sometimes when your grandmaa and grandpaa have been in Livingston, your grandmaa and grandpaa have sensed an evil darkness in the town.
Satan’s strongholds are manned by evil spirits. Embedded evil spirits in rocks, trees, things that are manmade from wood, stone, clay or metal, in . . . are alive. These Satan embedded evil spirit gofers are nasty and mean. These Satan embedded evil spirit minions demand to be served or . . . the guys and gals who worship Satan’s evil spirit imps who inhabit inanimate things do so out of intense, conditioned fear. The guy and gals who use Satan’s evil spirit lackey gang do so for personal gain. Satan’s stronghold spirits deprive guys and gals from being able to enjoy the hope and peace that a Divine Being – Who is God the Father, freely offers as a gift to His specially elected kids. God – in His sovereignty, has and is giving Satan latitude to use his terroristic militia of evil spirits to raise havoc even in the lives of His specially elected guys, gals and kids. Even though Satan has had God – as God the Father, allow him do whatever it is that he does through his backstabbing evil mercenaries, God – as God the Father, is very displeased with guys and gals who first buy into and then promote the warped, whitewashed belief paradigms that are broached by the lie master – who is Satan, using his evil spirits. Ezekiel – in Ezekiel 13, calls these ill-advised, misguided guys and gals a pack of jackals – animals who are always scavenging for dead things in order to survive. Ezekiel had God – as God the Spirit, breathe on him some very tough words to scribe against truth imposters. Truth imposters when Ezekiel scribed his Ezekiel Book were guys and gals who made up things to push down on God’s specially chosen guys and gals. What truth imposter guys and gals were really saying was just vacuous hot air that was born out of an imagination that was running amuck. God – as God the Father, has no time for a guy or gal who is promoting false visions and lying divinations as a way to elevate himself or herself before other guys and gals. God – as God the Father, is adamant in what He says through Ezekiel in that He will never ever tolerate lies – that His furious anger will unleash violent winds, rain torrents and hailstones against the guys and gals who mislead His specially chosen guys and gals from His truths to believe in something that they made up. God – as God the Father, specifically singled out gals who were wearing magic charms on their wrists and different lengths of veils to ensnare God’s specially chosen guys so that they would accept what they were saying just so that they would get paid with a handful of barley or with crusts of bread. God – as God the Father, promised these gals – through Ezekiel, who were discouraging the righteous guys with their deceit that they would be facing a particularly awful grief from Him.
God – as God the Father, has never hesitated to use harsh words against any guy or gal who took it on himself or herself to defame His holy name. Verse 5 is God – as God the Father, speaking indignantly against false prophets for their inaction, “You have not gone up to the breaks in the wall to repair it for the house of Israel so that it will stand firm in the battle on the day of the LORD.” The expectation that God – as God the Father, had of a guy or gal who He had called to prophesy for Him was that he or she did whatever to repair the broken relationship that His specially chosen guys and gals – the Israelite people group guys and gals, had with Him. Missionaries today know that they are in a spiritual battle with unseen evil forces – that God expects guys and gals today who are missionaries to stand in the gap or rift that separates Him from the guys, gals and kids who He has specially elected for Himself.
