How big do you think that God is? How strong do you think that God is? How controlling do you think that God is? Do you believe that there is an order to why things take place in the way that they do? Do you believe that there is a reason for why things happen in the way that they do? Do you believe that there are lessons to be learned from why things occur in the way that they do? God – as God – as God the Father, as God – as God the Son, and as God – as God the Spirit, never takes a moment off from relentlessly unrolling His infinitesimally meticulous plan that He fashioned before He began unfolding His ever-expanding cosmos. God is the core, integrated Presence in whatever existed before this exact moment, in whatever exists right at this exact moment and in whatever will exist right after this exact moment. Every molecular speck, atomic particle and vaporous gas that has ever existed, exists right now and will continue to exist has had, has and will have God’s creative, stalwart and resolute handprints all over it. Even though God is worshipped by what He is divinely creating – such as by shining, glistening stars that dot universe’s sky to vibrant, shade giving trees that point heavenward from planet Earth, by flickering, colorful aurora borealis dancing in the northern sky to lightning celebrating with reverberating booms water being dropped on planet Earth from rolling purple/green clouds and by life sustaining oxygen to life nourishing water, God because of having implanted a soul in each guy, gal and kid Who He specially chose and elected to become His adopted kids before He implemented His perfectly choreographed creation plan has given, is giving and will give His planet Earth bound guys, gals and kids His primary consideration. God’s deliberate attention on His specially chosen guys, gals and kids and then on His specially elected guys, gals and kids had Him unveiling life scenarios that were flawlessly designed to teach His specially chosen guys, gals and kids and that are now to teach His specially elected guys, gals and kids to obediently always live their lives with an attitude of thankfulness and gratitude towards Him.
God – about 2724 years ago, demoralized the Moabite people groups by having the Assyrian people group’s army overrun their land area. Before God’s specially chosen guys and gals – the Israelite people group guys and gals, crossed over into the land area that God was giving them to always to have to live in as their very own land, God’s specially chosen guys defeated the Moabite people group’s guys. Between the 690 years or so after God’s specially chosen guys and gals crossed the Jordan River – that God had through His unlimited power dammed up, and when God had had enough of the Moabite people group’s pride, conceit and insolence by having the Assyrian people group’s army do a number on them, the Moabite people group guys had become a nagging irritant to God’s specially chosen people guys and gals by crossing the Jordan River to cowardly raid the land that had been given to them by God. God’s reaction to the Moabite people group’s guys and gals disregard of Him – as they worshipped a manmade god that they called Chemosh, and His specially chosen guys and gals, was having the Assyrian people group’s army to . . . God – as God the Spirit, breathed on Isaiah to write in his Isaiah Book – in Isaiah 16, that if the guys and gals who were living the land area of Moab wanted to remain alive, they needed to send lambs as a tribute to help God’s specially chosen guys and gals who were living in the city of Jerusalem. To escape the encroaching Assyrian people group’s army, some of the Moabite people group gals escaped to the land area of Judah where a good number of God’s specially chosen guys and gals had settled. Isaiah referred to the Moabite people group gals who fled to the land area of Judah as being fluttering birds that were being pushed out of their nests. Isaiah was told by God – as God the Spirit, to tell the guys and gals who were living the land area of Judah – who He specially chose to be His specially chosen guys and gals, to hide the fugitive Moabite people group gals. Isaiah also told the Moabite people group guys and gals that after they are finished their wailing, lamenting and grieving that that their oppression will cease, the destruction of their land area will stop and their aggressor will finally leave them alone again. Before the Assyrian people group’s army left the Moabite people group land area, they made sure that the Heshbon fields were dried up, the Sibmah vines were withered and the choicest vines had been trampled. Before the Assyrian people group’s army left the Moabite people group land area, they removed all the joy, gladness, singing and happy shouting that was an everyday part of the lives of the guys, gals and kids who were living in the land area of Moab – which is today a part of the country of Jordan.
Verse 14 says, – “But now the LORD says: “‘Within three years, as a servant bound by contract would count them, Moab’s splendor and all her people will be despised, and her survivors will be very few and feeble.”’, Guys, gals and kids who remained alive in the land of Moab after God had the Assyrian people group’s army . . . had very little to live for. Your grandpaa is intrigued that guys and gals who today live in the country of Jordan do not have the kind of animosity towards the guys and gals who live in the country of Israel that guys and gals who live in other Islamic countries have. God expects His specially chosen guys and gals – the Jews, to be respected and esteemed.
