Are you curious to know what the end time is going to be like? Are you fearful that the end time is going to arrive sooner than later? Does the fact that the Mayan calendar ends on December 21, 2012 pique your curiosity? Does a report yesterday regarding a hoard of 70 small, sealed books – that were allegedly discovered several years ago in a country of Jordan cave, that apparently have early Christ-follower teachings along with explanations of the end time intrigue you? Have you been thinking about why there was on January 12, 2010 a devastating earthquake near the city of Port-au-Prince in the country of Haiti and then just 20 days ago a mega earthquake very close to the country of Japan’s northwest coastline that resulted in thousands and thousands of guys, gals and kids being killed by collapsing buildings and from the ensuing tsunamis? Have you been thinking about why there is fomented civil turmoil now taking place in the countries of Egypt, Libya, Syria and in other countries that are relatively close to the country of Israel? What do you think that God wants you to take from Revelation 17 in respect to the end time? Per Apostle John – after he was carried into a desert by one of the angels who was carrying one of seven bowls, he saw the prostitute or harlot who will be known as ‘Babylon the Great, punished at the end time. Your grandpaa believes that this prostitute or harlot are all the guys, gals and kids whose names are not written in the book of life that was written by God – as God the Father, at the time when He formed planet Earth out of nothing. These guys, gals and kids lived, are now living and will live lives that were, are now and will center on worshipping false idol gods versus worshipping God in the way that He has mandated that He be worshipped. All the guys, gals and kids who were not specially chosen and elected by God – as God the Father, to be His adopted kids have had, are having now and will have an adulterous lifetime relationship with Lucifer – who is a fallen angel, who also goes by the name of Satan.
Per what was explained to Apostle John during his desert outing, the woman who he saw in his vision – who was a prostitute or harlot, sitting on a scarlet beast with seven heads and ten horns will one day have her purple and scarlet clothes – that glitter with gold, precious stones and pearls, torn off her body by a beast who is identified as being the eighth king and her flesh eaten and her body burned by fire by this eighth king. Your grandpaa is puzzled particularly by the meaning of the seven heads. Some guys and gals think that the seven heads may symbolize the Roman Catholic Church as the city of Rome was founded on seven hills. The guys and gals who believe that the seven hills on which the city of Rome was built are possibly the beast’s seven heads are insinuating or suggesting that the Roman Catholic Church may have a crucial or central role when the end time arrives. That role may involve the antichrist. It is easier to explain that the country of Babylon – as the region of Babylon is acknowledged to be the ‘earth’s cradle’ or the birthplace of civilization, as a key player during the end time. The region of Babylon is also where God was first rejected by guys and gals when these guys and gals began to worship inanimate manmade gods that were handmade from wood, clay, stone and metal. Because of how God continues to unfold seemingly in a very random way His planet Earth schematic, Biblical commentators’ think that they have to have fluid explanations for the scarlet beast’s seven heads and ten horns. Your grandpaa does not believe that the Roman Catholic Church will have anything to do with when the end time will take place but he believes that the city of Jerusalem absolutely will.
Your grandpaa believes that the end time is sometime soon – that the end time ends with a monumental battle between God’s heavenly forces and the beast’s – who your grandpaa wonders if it might be Satan who will come out of the Abyss or that it might be the antichrist, outnumbered and undermanned minion kings. There are ten guys – per what Apostle John wrote, who will be given authority for one figurative hour alongside the beast. At the end of this figurative hour, these ten kings or nation rulers – who your grandpaa wonders if they will be the kings and/or rulers of ten different countries that are close neighbors to the country of Israel, will hand over their authority and power to the beast. Your grandpaa thinks that possibly at this time that whoever the beast is will begin to tyrannically reign over all the guys, gals and kids who are living on planet Earth from planet Earth’s throne. Your grandpaa believes that there is a good possibility that the city of Jerusalem will be where the beast – who your grandpaa believes is the antichrist, will sit himself as planet Earth’s despotic king. Apostle John writes at this time that his angel guide told him that there will be a woman symbolizing a great city – which your grandpaa thinks will be the city of Jerusalem, who will rule over planet Earth’s kings. Your grandpaa also thinks that it is possible at this time that this beast will not just do whatever he can to purge from planet Earth all the Christ-follower saints but that he will also do whatever he can do to eradicate planet Earth of even the guys, gals and kids who are not Christ-followers. Apostle John tells the outcome of this battle in verse 14, “They will make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”” What are your thoughts about the possibility that this end time battle is very close to taking place on planet Earth?
